A real-world territory game played with your camera. Every license plate your phone recognizes fuels your claim on the map around you — solo, or as part of a team.
RegoGoGo turns everyday traffic into a live strategy game. The world is divided into a grid of 2 km × 2 km cells. Open the app, start a scan, and point your camera at passing cars — each license plate your browser recognizes counts toward a claim on whichever cell you're standing in, for your team if you've joined one or for yourself if you haven't. Hold the most contested ground, and it's shown on the map for everyone to see.
Start a scan and point your camera at the road. RegoGoGo spots vehicles first, then checks each one for a plate to confirm a real match — all on-device, nothing uploaded but a number. Scanning only counts while you're moving faster than 20 km/h.
Your first detected plate in an unclaimed cell claims it instantly, for your team if you've joined one or for yourself if you haven't. Taking a cell someone already holds takes more — you'll need to out-score them by a real margin.
Unlock milestones, climb an uncapped level curve, and see how you stack up on the leaderboard — both individually and, if you've joined one, as a team.
RegoGoGo never reads, stores, or transmits a license plate number. Detection happens entirely in your browser; the app only ever sends an anonymous plate count and the grid cell you're standing in. Progress saves automatically as you drive and the moment you stop, so very little ever depends on remembering to submit.
Works with your device's built-in camera — rear camera on phones and tablets, built-in webcam on laptops and desktops. Location access is used to center the map on you and to attribute scans to the correct grid cell.
